The work consisted of lead base paint abatement and appropriate worker protection, certified weld inspector, NDT level II, to visually inspect all welds of the stoplogs and pickup beam for the power house in accordance with AWS D1.1. All butt welds were inspected to the same criteria using magnetic particle testing methods as well as visual. We replaced the old J-seals from the stoplogs, repainted the stoplogs and then replace all J-seals on the stoplogs with new seals. We provided a crane of adequate capacity to remove and replace the stoplogs in their storage area in the dam.
