Owner: | Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia |
Project Location: | Decatur, Georgia | Completion Date | September, 2010 |

Work consisted of construction of a new one story, free-standing building, approximately 6,600 gross square feet in area. The new building will include five general use classrooms, along with related building systems and infrastructure. Existing site utilities in and around the new building footprint will be reconfigured to allow construction of the new building. The building will be a pre-engineered steel frame structure on a concrete slab and footings. The exterior detailing of the building is designed to complement the other buildings on campus, and includes brick veneer and insulated steel panels over metal stud back-up, prefinished aluminum glazing systems, and a standing seam metal roof system. The
mechanical system will provide heating, cooling, ventilation, filtration, and exhaust for all occupied spaces. Plumbing will be provided for toilet facilities and water coolers. The building will be fully sprinklered. Lighting, power, communications and data will be provided to meet Georgia Perimeter College standards.
